I thought I’d wait a couple days after the release of President Obama’s long form birth certificate before saying anything. I figured, let’s give the birthers time to admit they were wrong or misled, and demand an end to one of the American radical Right’s Big Lies.
...Crickets.
Heavens to Orly Taitz, not a peep. Does any sane person expect anything different from the RepubliCON Cult? Of course not. They are a cult so enraged by the fact there is a Black man in the White House, they accept any wild notion that justifies their fear, anger and hatred. They embrace the twisted belief system of racists, fascists and idiots. And as we all know, racists, fascists and idiots are never wrong, and never have to recognize, or admit to holding, any false beliefs.
The horror is not that these goose-stepping moral failures cannot admit they are wrong, or refuse to show any interest in learning the truth; but they are virtually half the voting block of the Republican Party. These arrogant, racist fascist fools are why we have the Republican Party in power. The true meaning of “useful idiots” is on display for the world to see. How can anyone be proud of this country with this reality? We are no better than 1930’s Germany. We are now practically begging for a Republican police state. Fascism has come. The Big Lies are here. The “pinhead patriots” are ignorant and frightened authoritarians who believe those who disagree with them are Marxist threats to their vile notion of what a free democratic republic should be.
The servants of Mammon are in control of our politicians, and what was once called a government of, by and for the people has been bought and paid for. The legislative, judicial and executive branches of our federal and state governments are being locked into serving the agenda of the power brokers of Wall Street, insurance companies, energy conglomerates, Pharma, and the Military Industrial Complex. Money is Free Speech. Corporations are Persons. (Thank you Supreme Corporate Cronies.) War is peace. (Thank you, GWB, “I just want you to know that, when we talk about war, we're really talking about peace.”) Freedom is slavery. (Goodbye jobs, fair pay, benefits and pensions.) Ignorance is strength. (Thank you, Trump and Birthers.)

I'm less concerned about the number of actual racists than about the much larger number of uninformed or misinformed resenters. IMO, they are in the driver's seat on the right to a much greater extent.
Of course, the real powers on the right are people like the Koch brothers, Tom Donohue, Rupert Murdoch, Roger Ailes, Roger Stone, Karl Rove and so on. It's for these greedy, authoritarian, thoroughly ideological people that the uninformed and misinformed resenters are such useful idiots.
Some Americans seethe with resentment, feeling minority types are getting ahead at the expense of their opportunities. They blame liberals and Democrats. Others are angry at what they see as big government coddling the lazy and no account, giving them outlandish welfare, food stamps and Medicaid, all taken from the pockets of hard-working, long-suffering working-class and middle-class people.
These resenters never seem to make the connection that their diminished opportunities and/or limited financial success is more a function of things the rich and super rich have done. Things like replacing workers with machines at every chance, sending factories and whole industries overseas, without any accountability for the negative impact of those decisions on millions of Americans — including the resenters.
Democrats need to help the resenters make that connection. So far, few Democrats have even tried.
A little thing in your post about the Supreme Court being run by the right appears to me the most dangerous.

That birth certificate is a fake. If it was real, it would have said Negro instead of African.
Obama was on a financial-aid-for-foreign-students program when he was in college. Sarah Palin said that so it must be true.
Oh, and why did Obama wait 2 years to show us his birth certificate if he has nothing to hide?

As a birther, I would like to confess that I was wrong and misled. I apologize for ever suggesting that Mr. Obama did not have a genuine Hawaiian birth certificate. Additionally, I understand and forgive that it took so long to get it from the Kenyan government. I consider my vote for him to have been validated, and I now admit that your votes were legitimate.
However, any of you who voted for him when he was not an American are subversive and despicable.

The partisan split in the SCOTUS bothers the hell out of me too. The Court is supposed to be the last resort for grievances...it has become a talking point.

"Mobilization of resentments" was a key part of the Right's racist "Southern strategy" in winning their base in the South back in the 60's.
In order for Democrats to do something similar, they would need to foster resentment towards the Corporatocracy. Given the fact the Dems are also bought and sold by the same Big Money interests as the GOP, I don't see this happening without a major shift by the Democratic Party to democracy.

As they even admit, the Court is not concerned so much about justice as it is the law. And the law is so often corrupted.
Obama's Birth certificate is an electronic document in layers.
If it were a real scan it would just be jpeg or another imaging format.
It was poorly constructed and can't be the real thing.
So why publish it? Perhaps because keeping the nation divided agianst itself, is necessary to keep the destruction of the USA ongoing?
