Vice President Vance had the nerve to appear on the View. And that’s all the credit he deserves. He apparently left his integrity back in the green room, or what was left of it after he sold his soul to his oligarch sponsor Peter Theil and to the Criminal President.
Trump’s surrender to Iran and being shunned at the G7 summit the next day quickly overshadowed Vance’s grilling by the ladies hosting the show. The Criminal President told the world how he was making America great again. "Nobody plays rougher than the United States. Look, our elections are totally rigged. We have rigged elections."
Vance came to the rescue:
Q: Colleagues that you served with in the U.S. Senate Republican Conference have criticized this deal. What is your message back to them?
Vance: "Have a little faith in the President of the United States. The idea that he is going to strike a deal that's bad for the American people is preposterous."
Yes, indeed. Higher inflation, higher gas and food prices, and national humiliation is very good for the American people.

allowed it to really stigmatize folks of color…When you see the Emmet Till
stuff coming down and them doing all kinds of removal of information of Black
heroes, how does that sit with you?”
After Vance pretended he didn’t understand the question, Sonny said, “I’m talking about Black history getting erased from public spaces, Black voter districts are being dismantled. Black leaders are being sidelined from our ranks. Where do Americans of color fit in this vision? Because it doesn’t seem like we fit.”
Anna Cabrera added the fact that white South Africans are almost all of the people allowed to immigrate, based on false “anti-white racism”.
Confronted by a panel with three women of color, the VP needed to play his "white victim card".
Vance falsely accused Whoopie, “You say that we’re anti-minority or anti-black.”
Goldberg immediately corrected Vance. “No, I didn’t say that! I asked — see? Don’t start any stuff with me, man. Don’t get me in trouble.”
He later repeated his white nationalist lie to Greg Gutfield, “I gotta say, I thought Sunny [Hostin], the woman to my left, was going to call me racist. In reality, it was Whoopi, the woman to my right, that called me racist. Expectations defied."
Vance was terrified of addressing the suppression of Black history and gerrymandering away their representation, let alone the re-glorification of Confederate generals. And never mind his boss always accuses Black women journalists of being “low IQ”.
Yes, they ARE a bunch of whitewashing racists, doing their best to erase Black American history. The Atlantic reports that Gen. Daniel "Chappie" James Jr. the first Black four-star general in American history has recently had his portrait quietly removed from the Pentagon. Yes, their message is Black history is too "woke" and nothing but unpatriotic "DEI".
As he did with questions on the Epstein files and the economy, Vance deflected from their suppression of Black history with another lie. “Look at Washington DC…it has seen a radical decrease in violent crime, sexual assaults, and in murders.”
This was his best cover line to show how much they cared for Black Americans.
The “radical decrease” actually started under Biden.

Vance is in the proverbial "hotseat". He's got to defend his boss. But he knows doing so is killing his chances of ever being POTUS.
The US just "negotiated" and signed a major agreement with a foreign country. Where was Sec of State Marco Rubio? MIA because he's in a safe house somewhere trying to wait out the Iran debacle, lest he get tainted like Vance is.
Vance must not just defend not releasing the Epstein files and policies designed to negatively impact black Americans, but also as you noted, "Trump’s surrender to Iran."
I think Vance is learning the reality of a "warm bucket of piss" the way former fellow VP John Nance Garner famously described the office.

The US was created as a "republic" for white land owners and slave owners. No wonder white nationalists FEEL as if it is their country.
The founders' saving grace was to write a Constitution that was intended to be amended for a "more perfect union". That notion has been eliminated for all practical purposes. Trump, conservative Republicans who support him, MAGA dolts, corporate oligarchs, and "economic royalists" as FDR called them are doing their utmost to restore a white nationalist oligarchic country.
Resisting them is now the role for the new American heroes.
The real American heroes are not just soldiers who died in uniform. They are the Americans who have worked to abolish slavery, pushed for civil rights and voting rights, and who continue today to live up to our ideals of "all men are created equal" and government of by and for the people.

Heroes are working to make America GOOD and humane. These are the darkest of times, but surrender is not an option.

Folks like the MAGA cult will never find contentment, happiness, inner peace, or see reality as it truly is. For to acheive this one must turn away from searching for reality and happiness in the external and turn inwardly, the only place reality and true happiness can be found.
Authoritarian leaders and their followers actually actively avoid seeking truth and the wisdom only truth can provide. For that one must focus on the inner self. When one does they eventually realize they are not seperate, but rather a part of the unified whole of life. Recognizing the self is but the dualism the ego cherishes. When that is realized true freedom and liberation us acheived.
Elon Musk spoke the true ideology for all of MAGA and its allied oligarchs: "The fundamental weakness of Western civilization is empathy".
This is how monsters thrive.

For years I considered myself an atheist. However, when I decided to engage with Buddhism and its advocacy of experiential knowledge and wisdom I began to change. I opened to the wisdom that has been available in ALL true spiritual paths. Not in the sense of a creator god as defined by Judaism Empire Christianity, or Islam. For those faiths have been corrupted by the authoritarian actors whose ONLY goal is control.
Neither the Buddha, Jesus, or Lao Tzu said worship me, they said follow me (my path) to realization and liberation.
Organized, top down religious dogma rarely leads to true understanding and freedom. But for those with awareness they recognize that is intentional. No true spiritual master ever said look outwardly for a answers. They said the absolute opposite. Look inward. Deepy. Peel back the layers of conditioning, labels, and reified beliefs of ones mind.
It is the work and brutal honesty many Choose to avoid. It's easier to follow and cling to acceptance by the many who also choose ignorance over truth.
I know. I was there once and need to maintain my practice to stay on the path.
The kingdom of heaven is found inside, just like Jesus said. It was NEVER out there in the clouds. Realizing just that is liberating.
I just finished watching the finale to the British comedy "Good Omens", about competing angels and demons and the machinations of Heaven's and Hell's interference in humanity. Neither side are something to be proud of.
I won't spoil the ending, but I think you'll like it.
