"Understanding" White Nationalism

We've seen it pop up over the news. The media is often duped by far Right whiners complaining about the rest of us "not understanding" Trump supporters.

Oh, but we do.

When Angry White Americans accuse me of hating America and opposing the Constitution, when they lie like White Nationalists, when they accuse and blame liberals, Blacks and Muslims, and NEVER bring up racist killings going on today, when they attack BLM as a "racist hate group", when they agree “very fine people” marched with Nazis, when they are angered by the Congressional Black Caucus meeting with Nation of Islam and attack the Black President for being a racist, even after he denounced NOI’s racism, when they focus all blame on the Black President while praising the racist Birther that followed him for banning Muslim refugees, Etc. ad nauseum....

Yeah, if that doesn’t fit White Nationalism, then it doesn’t exist.

I will not compromise with hate and lies. I will call haters and liars out for what they are. There can be no common ground with extremism. It will never disappear, and it must be defeated by every generation.

I suggest they just follow their White Nationalist mentor Steve Bannon’s advice to, "Let them call you racist. Let them call you xenophobes. Let them call you nativists. Wear it as a badge of honor. Because every day, we get stronger and they get weaker.”

Inspiring, is it not? Kinda makes me want to goose step, raise my right arm and “hail victory”.

I know I can be a smart ass at times. It is who I am. But seriously, I am saddened by the disinformation, anger and hate we see from the far Right. I am ashamed of such a large faction of Americans who have become fanatic enough to trust Trump over journalists, scientists, and educators. And I am horrified they not only trust Trump, but actively share his hate for our free press and educational institutions, and his demonizing and defaming of law enforcement professionals for investigating Russian interference in our election. These hypocrites are undermining the very rule of law to shield the “law and order president” from justice.

They also viciously attack anyone who calls out the lies and hate from the Party of Trump.

This is who they are folks.

And they HATE anyone who sees them the way they actually present themselves.

We’ll stop telling the truth about them when they stop lying about us.

But that won’t happen, for they will never see the truth in what I just said. They are unable to comprehend anything outside their bubble cult because they are indoctrinated to hate and loathe dissent from their ideology. Thus deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion are their only tools.

There can be no common ground with deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion. They whine that we “don’t understand” them. This is not true. We know what they are about. THEY don’t want to understand us. They choose to see us and our free press as the “enemy of the people”.

I stand ready to share the common ground of reality and basic human decency. The Party of Trump and their enablers obviously want none of that.

They want to rule. They want to reward the servants of mammon and feed the greed of the rich. They don’t care what the poor and working class will lose. They want to attack our democracy, dismantle our institutions, subvert our rule of law to their will, and crush dissent and our free press.

And I shall resist that ignorance, tyranny, anger, and hate until my dying breath.

Why should I bother to "understand" them (in any sense other than how scientists seek to "understand" a noxious disease)? They've never made the slightest effort to understand me, or anyone else who's not like them. They gloat about making "libtards" unhappy with what they do. Fine. If that's how they want to play it, we can do the same. But they don't get to act the way they do and then demand "understanding".

He's hysterical, but not the way he thinks. I'm laughing at how I get into their heads so much they obsess over me.

I'm flattered and amused, not angry.

In fact, I think I'll post "his" piece in this thread. Should I get his permission?

"Understanding" the Party of Militant Snowflakes
By Anonymous

We've seen it pop up over the news repeatedly and unceasingly. The media is often duped and is complicit, if not actually members of the far left whiners complaining about the rest of us "not understanding" leftist supporters.

Oh, but we do.

When angry leftist snowflakes accuse me of being racist and opposing the Constitution, when they lie like calling me a White Nationalist, when they accuse and blame conservatives, resort to the race card and every race-baiting technique ever devised, and NEVER bring up the double standards and duplicity of their actions going on today, when they attack pro-life organizations as "racist hate groups", when they claim that only innocent victims and not some numbers of violent protesters marched with BLM, when they are angered by the Congressional Freedom Caucus for even existing, when they constantly deflect and claim that we are blaming the former Black President, when they refuse to look at President Trump and realize that he is doing his constitutional job as commander in chief by trying to prevent potential Muslim terrorists from dangerous and unstable countries from entering America with his temporary ban until they are vetted and thus claiming he is a racist xenophobe because of this, all the while excusing the anti-colonialist, would-be-Marxist, Islamic-enemy strengthening idiot that preceded Trump into the White House, Etc. ad nauseum.... well, we do get it.

Yeah, if that doesn’t fit anti-constitutionalism and hate America first leftists, then it doesn’t exist.
I will not compromise with hate and lies. (Some on the left have become the very essence of hate and lies.) I will call haters and liars out for what they are going forward. There can be no common ground with this leftist extremism. It will never disappear, and it must be defeated by every generation. “Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction,” so said the greatest president in my lifetime, Ronald Wilson Reagan, whom the militant left hates for restoring America’s prosperity, standing, and respect among the nations of the world.

I suggest they just follow their fascist Anti-fa hate group’s advice to, "resist, destroy, and burn down the rightwing institutions. Never allow them to speak or share their ideas. They must be silenced.” This will only show the rest of the nation who these misguided and wrong-headed fools truly are.
Inspiring, is it not? Kinda makes me want to polish my Lenin statue and raise my clenched fist as I don my Che Guevara beret.

I know I can be a smart ass at times. It is who I am. But seriously, I am saddened by the disinformation, anger and hate we see from the far Left. I am ashamed of such a large faction of Americans who have become fanatic enough to trust Hillary, Schumer, Pelosi, leftist-propaganda journalists, self-serving-faux scientists, and progressive-agenda-driven educators. And I am horrified they not only trust these adversaries of liberty, but actively share in their hate for a truly free un-biased press and educational institutions that are not merely sources of leftist indoctrination, and their demonizing and defaming of anyone that is right of center. These hypocrites have historically undermined the very rule of law to further their own purposes and then whine when others don’t follow the law when it is perceived to negatively impact them.

"Understanding" the Party of Militant Snowflakes

(Part Two)

They also viciously attack anyone who calls out the lies and hate from the Party of Militant Snowflakes (PMS).

(After all, it was communist dictators in the 20th century that actually killed or exiled those that raised their voices in dissent to freedom.) Thus deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion are their only tools. This is why conservatives are not allowed to speak on college campuses or any media sources that are not left-wing are denounced as “fake news” by these ideologues.

There can be no common ground with deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion. They whine that we “demonize” them. This is not true. We know what they are about. THEY don’t want to understand us. They choose to see us and our traditional American values as the “enemy of the people”.

I stand ready to share the common ground of reality and basic human decency. The Party of Militant Snowflakes (PMS) and their enablers obviously want none of that.

They want to rule. They want to impeach and remove a duly elected president without charges (to date) thereby ignoring the rule of law and will of the people. They claim to be for the poor and working class but only put forth new policies and entitlements that further ensnare them in even greater government dependency and thus consolidate a leftist voting bloc. They want to attack our republic, dismantle our institutions, subvert our rule of law to their will, and crush dissent and our constitutional liberties under the first, second, and various other constitutional amendments.

And I shall resist that ignorance, tyranny, anger, and hate until my dying breath.

Mr. (Anonymous),

Well, gosh! Am I ever flattered! I stand humbled, hat in hand, and shall bow to your authority. With a little nudge, I too can join your ranks of proud white victims. Liberals cry, but not as loud as the REAL victims, amirite? Poor Trump whines every day about being treated unfairly. His victimhood beckons us to his aid.

You have almost recruited me to your cause. All I need is a little boost from Majormajor to clarify and identify the trash heap of liberal lies he noted, and we will have the next great heroes of conservatism. You and Majormajor will have done the impossible!

Pardon my usual complaint, but it would be helpful if you would quote for us the lies from my humble little heap, not that I don’t appreciate your generous offering of straw men. And if MM shows us some lies from the trash heap he noted last thread, we would be ever so grateful. How are to be loyal followers if we don’t know what the lies are? Or...is that the secret?

My leftist-addled brain needs closure, and knowing just where I lied could be my ticket to salvation and dedication of my life to our Great White Leader Trump.

I stand ready to accept your truth about the Global Conspiracy of Evil Climate Scientists. And how the racism of LBJ will make it easier for me to hate BLM. I stand ready to accept your truth that racially targeted gerrymandering, and suppression of voter registration, and further restricting poll access will make America great.

I look forward to gaining more compassion for the painful sacrifices and suffering endured by the Kochs, Waltons, Sinclairs, Murdochs, and Mercers. Thanks to our new view of reality, we can end the cruel oppression of these humble salt of the Earth victims of a system rigged against them. Grrr. It angers me already.

And I eagerly anticipate bonding with our new brethren of "very fine people" marching with Nazis. I want to be white, and proud of it.

And thank you for playing the commie card! You never disappoint, my friend. ;-)

(Commentary from anonymous author contained no citing of alleged lies.)

Well, darn the luck. My conversion to the Right seemed so imminent.

I’m disappointed our would be saviors fail to give us our last nudge to the truth and wisdom of Trump. Perhaps they are distracted? Or distracting?

While Mr. Paine’s manifesto is wildly entertaining and brilliantly inspired, if I say so myself, I’m left more confused than before.

Mr. Paine accuses us of “excusing the anti-colonialist, would-be-Marxist, Islamic-enemy strengthening idiot that preceded Trump”, aka the man who ordered the high risk attack that killed OBL.

But never mind. The would-be-Marxist foreign Muslim Black Guy ruined everything and hates America. We get that part. What I don’t understand is how the Islamic Terrorist Obama is “anti-colonialist”. This seems to be a misplaced compliment. I thought the Founders were anti-colonialist, as in “opposed to colonial rule of one country by another”.

Stupid Founders! Didn’t they know our radical Right needs that term to mean “Racist Black Guy”? At least I think that’s their new definition. Why do they keep these things a big secret?

their fascist Anti-fa hate group

Another secret new definition. Yes, I think I get it. Opposing Nazis, white nationalists and the Klan is the new definition of fascist. Where would we be without our authoritarians dictating the meaning of words? Goddam those fascist American troops for violently attacking Hitler’s Nazis. It sickens me, as a novice conservative.

a truly free un-biased press and educational institutions

Here, here! Finally something I understand. Stupid leftists don’t know that FOX(R), Limbaugh, Alex Jones, Silk and Diamond, and talk radio are the only true unbiased press.

Thus deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion are their only tools.

Wow. I wish I’d have thought of that! Thank you Mr. (Anonymous). You are as clever as you are original.

They choose to see us and our traditional American values as the “enemy of the people”.

Yeah! Wait a minute... I don’t recall this being said by anyone on the Left at all. Are we making up new definitions of “enemy of the people” again? I only heard this from our Orange Savior.

But what do I know? I’m learning. I’ll tell you this much. It’s high time we took care of the richest among us, and stopped giving sick kids health care and doling out food stamps to hungry people. These are our true traditional American values!! Kind of like slaughtering Indian villages and bombing hundreds of thousands of civilians to death.

Just like the press, these evil communist tricks are the real “enemy of the people”.

Woo hoo! I’m almost there! As sure as Trump had the largest inauguration crowd in history, I’m just as sure we can trust Mr. (Anonymous)’s words. Even when we don’t know the new definitions yet.

I submit to my authoritarian leader. I promise not to question any of his new definitions and unfounded accusations. I hereby accept without question or evidence, that I am a liar. Although I’m not sure what the lies are, that doesn’t matter does it? All I must do is repeat what I am told by my authoritarian leaders.

I must learn to trust and believe whatever the Cult of Right-wing Authoritarian Personalities tell me.

I stand ready to be indoctrinated and to eagerly receive their exalted CRAP.

Dump away, boys.

Mr. Paine, you've stooped -- no crawled -- to the level of Chuck. You've choosen to emulate a brainless imbecile. Congratulations on your path to devolvement!

You're more disappointing, not to mention deplorable, than I previously imagined. You've convinced me you've chosen to fly the flag of the Alt-Reich. Any more Nazi crosses in the closet?

Dave's been correct all along. Tell me, does your newly-discovered white supremacy feel good?...or was it there all the time?

Dave Dubya said...

JG,
You're right. Mr. Paine hasn't stooped. It's where he's always been. He needs to redefine words to form his fanatic ideological absurdities, plus the usual abundance of projection in order to refute my points. The rest was of course, deflection, distraction, denial, dishonesty and distortion.

As an admitted smart ass, I can understand the term you applied to one who needed to ratchet up the lies and hate.

His vile brainwashing really does claim we hate America and oppose the Constitution. And playing the patented far Right/fascist commie card, he accused us of "Stalinism".

Unlike Mr. Paine I refer to actual things he said, and don't need to fabricate straw men and level accusations without evidence.

He is desperate to attack me for noting his agreement with Trump's "very fine people" marching with Nazis and his deep resentment for BLM, which he called a racist hate group.
Like Nazis did to their critics, Mr. Paine needs to accuse us of sharing the ideology of communist dictators.

The horror is Mr. Paine isn't even the the most extreme of them. His Trumpist sidekick and those "very fine people" they admire goose step even further into fascism.

He did not acknowledge that the vast majority of the writing was done by Dave within his original posting, nor has he yet provided a link to Dave’s original article. It would seem that he has incorporated the Melania Trump school of writing into his repertoire.

True, he did acknowledge that the writing came from Dave in a comment. However, such as acknowledge is not an attribution, but a mea culpa.

Must really suck to see how successful President Trump continues to be..so you can only resort to claiming his supporters are White Supremacist and White Nationalist who hate blacks.

That's a strange position to take when under President Trump, the Black unemployment rates are now at historical low levels. Now explain why, if White Supremacist and White Nationalist, hate Blacks they would support a President whose actions have made the Black economy the best on record? Why would the "racist" GOP pass legislation that lowered corporation and personal taxes, as it has shown, helped the Black community unemployment?

Doesn't it seem silly or just plan flat out stupid (Or maybe even racist?) for the DNC to promise if they are given control of the House they will raise taxes, since doing so, if history is any indication, would raise unemployment?

So here I stand accused by Dave of being a racist White Supremacist who supports President Trump who in the short time in office, has passed policy's that have helped Blacks, free American citizens from captivity in NoKO, has brought NoKO to the negotiation table, per Ross Douthat, writing in The Times, defeated ISIS. (A accusation I AGAIN deny and claim nothing more that Dave playing the race card.)

Gary Varvel, writing in IndyStar in 12/2017 lists the following:

Economic growth: The gross domestic product has grown by more than 3% for two quarters in a row.

Consumer confidence: In October, consumer confidence rose to the highest level in 17 years, according to the New York-based Conference Board.

Deregulation: Trump has cut 67 Obama-era regulations and added only three new rules. The rollback on regulations has spurred business confidence, economic activity and stock market growth.

Stock market: The Dow has set record highs 70 times this year, rising 5,000 points in a year for the first time in history.

Judicial appointments: Trump has staffed the judiciary with constitutionalists such as Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch.

Unemployment: Granted, Trump inherited low unemployment numbers from President Obama, but the number of people collecting unemployment benefits has continued to fall to a near 49-year low.

Trade: Trump worked out a trade deal with China, Vietnam and South Korea.

Israel: The United States' relationship with Israel has been much improved since the last administration.

Immigration: In August 2017, illegal border crossing apprehensions were down 41% on the Southern border compared with August 2016.

U.S. energy: The Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines are under construction. Jobs to be created: 42,000.

Coal: Trump stopped Obama’s war on coal.

Obama deserves some credit. His policies created a SLOW economic recovery, which forced businesses to get lean. Since taking office, President Trump has removed the regulatory weight and the economy is SOARING again.

Now if being happy with this makes me a Nationalist who wants to see more of American winning, so be it. But I refuse to apologize for acts that make America great again.

Dave Dubya said...

Majormajor,

I stand to benefit directly when the market goes up, so that's good. I also stand to lose when it goes to hell, so that's not so good. Trump had a bump, but it has become erratic, and will only worsen if he takes us to war with Iran and aggravates North Korea.

America should be a better place after every president. Under Obama we regained our moral standing after Bush lied us into war and implemented torture. Trump is about to return us to that catastrophic behavior.

Under Obama more Americans were covered for health insurance, despite our criticisms of Obamacare. That helped make us a greater country. Obama pulled us out of the Great Bush Recession. That was also great. Trump is sowing the seeds of our next crash and Wall Street swindles with deregulation. History has its lessons, but most can’t learn them.

I never said all Trump voters are racists. I question their poor judgment of character and note their low level of information. There is no question that the Alt-Right, Nazis, Klan, and White supremacists are huge Trump fans. Would you care to explain this? No? How about accept it as a fact?

I could say your hounding me about Nation of Islam and calling me a “Black Socialist” could indicate your attitude towards Blacks. I have little reason to think you are not racist. Not that I’m calling you a racist. But your definition floats so freely that you think FDR was a racist for interning only Asians of Japanese ancestry.

Black unemployment rates: We’ve heard enough of your praise for Trump and crediting him for the Black unemployment rate going down a whole percentage point in his first year.

Under Obama it went down EIGHT POINTS from the Bush Recession high of 16%. You will never accept this fact, I’m sure.

Illegal border crossings went down during the Obama years, but you can’t accept that fact either, I suppose.

Black economy? I didn’t know that was still segregated.

Unemployment: Granted, Trump inherited low unemployment numbers from President Obama

You’re slipping, but thanks for including that fact.

Past Administrations also did this: “free American citizens from captivity in NoKO, has brought NoKO to the negotiation table”.

Actually the offer to come to the table was from Kim Jong Un. He knew talking with Trump would legitimize his leadership. South Korea is taking a greater role than Trump. But Trump can still blow it all up. He just gave Kim an example of the US reneging on a nuclear agreement. NOT exactly a good tactic for a fair deal. When Obama mentioned negotiations with North Korea and Iran, the radical Right practically howled “Treason” at the Black Guy. IOKIYAR.

Dave Dubya said...

The United States' relationship with Israel has been much improved since the last administration.

Yes, for the Israeli far Right, anyway. The US has become Lyin’ Bibi’s lap dog again. The US continued aid to Israel all through the Obama years. You may prefer to believe Obama is a foreign Muslim, like Trump. Not great. It’s those who abetted Trump’s racist birtherism who I would call racist. You never denied anything Trump has claimed. Hmm.

The Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines are under construction. Jobs to be created: 42,000.

Oil companies say “create” others say “support”. Sounds great. But do temporary jobs make America great? Not so much.

Once the Keystone pipeline opens it would require only 35 full-time permanent jobs to run it, and 15 full-time temporary jobs, according to the state department report. TransCanada, the company seeking to build the pipeline, does not dispute those numbers.

A 2014 State Department report stated:“Construction spending would support a combined total of approximately 42,100 jobs throughout the United States for the up to 2-year construction period,” the report states, but notes that approximately 26,000 of the positions would result from spending on goods and services by contractors and employees, and last only the duration of the project, up to two years.

The Brookings Institution estimates just 40 full-time permanent positions will remain upon the conclusion of construction on the DAPL.

Trump stopped Obama’s war on coal.

Unlike Bush, Obama never started a war. Coal declined and will continue to decline due to market realities and natural gas. There was a bump in exports that helped.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2018/04/04/president-trump-has-yet-save-struggling-coal-industry-numbers-show/479587002/

No one is naïve enough to think that coal will return anytime soon to its glory days, when it fueled more than half of the nation’s electricity generation, employment reflected robust production, and coal was fetching high prices in overseas steelmaking centers such as Brazil, China, Japan and South Korea, according to Luke Popovich, a spokesman for the National Mining Association.

Coal employment has barely budged under Trump.

The demand for U.S. coal increased last year in China, Japan and India when a tropical cyclone disrupted their supply from Australia. Coal exports are expected to decrease in 2018 and 2019, the Energy Information Administration projects.

Thank you for discussing issues. I know you hate the word, but that shows progress. ;-)

Majormajor said...

I guess you really really long for the days of Obama, but since you give him credit for everything, you should be happy with all the improvements while Trump's been in office.

It is all due to Obama, who for the record did promise to bankrupt the coal industry.

I guess you really really long for the days of Obama, (Do I?) but since you give him credit for everything, (Did I?)you should be happy with all the improvements while Trump's been in office.(What improvements? Like deregulating Wall Street? Loosening regulations for lead in drinking water? Letting coal mines pollute streams?)

It is all due to Obama, who for the record did promise to bankrupt the coal industry.(Did he?)

If you could quote his “promise to bankrupt the coal industry”, please do so. I did hear him mention the prohibitive cost of NEW coal plants. And we don’t need them. Nobody is building them. Nobody wants them. Except China. Do you want us to be more like China?

That was before his presidency. Did he indicate cleaner use for coal is desirable? Yes. Did he as president bankrupt the coal industry? No. Did he promise to bankrupt the coal industry? No.

Did a convicted Republican coal mine owner whose negligence killed miners run for the Senate? Yes. IOKIYAR? Absolutely. Miners Lives Matter!

Can you explain that? Oh, and it almost slipped my mind, that largest racist group in the USA, the Nation of Islam (AKA Black Muslims) that you support, they are Black Nationalists.
