They cheer Trump for decimating NOAA, leaving America more vulnerable to threats of severe weather.
They willingly join his corrupt war on our democracy.
They support Trump for breaking his promise for no new wars. They support Trump for abandoning Ukraine and his promise to end the war.
They are willing to send Americans to die for Netanyahu's war with Iran.*
They suppress voter rights, impose racist redistricting to eliminate representation for Black Americans.
They are actively encouraging Trump's election deniers who pedal his Big Lie to interfere in the upcoming elections.
They amass power and wealth while people they hate suffer. They are the true domestic enemies of our Constitutional democratic representative republic.
They are fascists.
Americans want the OPPOSITE of all of this hate and lies. Americans want the OPPOSITE of this deliberate and cruel destruction of our rule of law and democracy.

The antiquated flaws in our Constitution have been exploited by the forces against voter rights and fair representation. A corrupt House, President, and Supreme Court have poisoned our republic to the point recovery will be nearly impossible.
The dumbing down of the country, the fascist propaganda, and voter apathy may have sunk us for good. I'm not optimistic. My heart aches for the innocent children I see, oblivious of what struggles and horrors they may encounter because of Trump, MAGA, and the oligarchy he expanded.
Americans are reading far less than ever. Disinformation and lies dominate the public discourse. This is another symptom of a cancer eating away at our country.

You're right that we share basic needs, but needs and values are different subjects.
Sure we all want and need many of the same things. Meeting basic needs as you listed are among them. See FDR's "second bill of rights" where he addresses such needs.
The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;
The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;
The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;
The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;
The right of every family to a decent home;
The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;
The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;
The right to a good education.
The Right will call this "communism" despite wanting the same things. They are indoctrinated to HATE FDR and Democrats. It's their fealty to the economic royalists and indoctrinated hate and bigotry that stands in the way,
We also want different things and how we get there makes a huge difference.
The needs of the people and the desires of the rich and Republicans are generally incompatible. The demands of fundamentalists are incompatible with our Constitution.
Christian nationalists and white supremacists want those basic needs met as well, but they want their white privilege. They want to deny women their reproductive freedom. They want to deny black Americans fair representation. They want a leader who is above the law and will believe any lie or hateful accusation he makes. They applaud ICE gunning down non-violent human beings.
This is supporting tyranny, not the rule of law.
This is not a free country, where women and the LGBTQ people are allowed to mind their own business. This is not a free country, where we are free to criticize the president without prosecutorial retribution.
The left and majority want a free country with civil rights, voting rights, and liberty for every peaceful citizen. They Right wants to control and dominate the majority and will cheat and commit crimes to win power.
They want to dictate what is taught in schools and what is reported in the news to assure it adheres to THEIR religion and political ideology.
They want tax cuts for the rich and cuts in aid to the poor. They want to punish and disenfranchise people they hate or even FEEL threatened by. They want rule by the rich, and to eliminate our Constitutional provisions for taxes, regulation of commerce, and providing for the general welfare.
Education and healthcare are two things the left wants for everyone. The right wants to eliminate public education and healthcare.
These are widely differing ideologies and irreconcilable differences, and the Right refuses to compromise. This "my way or the highway" is where authoritarianism and tyranny are rooted. These are conservative "values" today.
It's the capital class, who sees profit and personal wealth as more important than need or rights that is the very heart of the problem. And, most Americans, certainly MAGA heads, have no idea why. And, most do not care to learn. They've drank so much kool-aid they'll never be convinced there is a better way.
