Oops. Dear Leader accidently told the truth.
Q: To what extent are Americans' financial situations motivating you to make a deal with Iran?
TRUMP: "Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about Americans' financial situation. I don't think about anybody."
Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon.
It was always Israel's war, so we already knew they would stop Iran's efforts to build one, but they found their hitman in our Belligerent Buffoon. And at our expense to boot.
But be of good cheer, America. National Economic Council Director Kevin Hassett brings joyful tidings.
"People still don't have faith that the golden age is upon us, that Trump policies are working...And just as Secretary Bessent said, credit card spending is through the roof. They're spending more on gasoline, but they're spending more on everything else, too."
If that doesn't sound like great news, then you're just not a real patriot, amirite?
Now it's down to we the people directly and indirectly paying even more to support Netanyahu's radical Zionist criminal regime.
And of course China is relishing Trump's warmongering as more cover for invading Taiwan, as Putin does with his war on Ukraine.
Putin, Netanyahu, Xi, and Trump have each other as inspiration and comfort for their military aggression.
It's a win, win, win, win for all four dictators.
I have to share the fitting image of Junior Dictator Trump sitting down to dinner with Xi. (He had the woman behind him remove his chair cushion that he and Xi were to sit on.)
"Toddler Tyrant at the Adults' Table". A small man looking even smaller.

Yes, for once trump spoke the truth. He does not care about the financial struggles of everyday working class families.
Of importance to trump is his own wealth and that of his oligarch billionaire buddies... The system is rigged in their favor and always has been since the end of WW II. trump, Project 2025, and the oligarchs have simply added jet fuel to the process of decline as they work to enhance their own selfish interests.
As for his visit to China? The far smarter and superior Chineese leadership, with their long view, will give little and will extract much from the babbling Bobo and his oligarch sycophants.
America is in a downward spiral and MAGAs have their feet buried into to floor. Cheering its diminishing influence and increasing indecency.
The "Kinsley Gaffe" in real time.
Trump is too stupid to know what Xi meant when he mentioned that the U.S. and China could avoid conflict and asked “whether the two countries can transcend the ‘Thucydides Trap’ and forge a new model for relations between major powers.”
Wiki:
The "Thucydides Trap" is a political theory stating that when an emerging power threatens to displace an existing great power, the resulting structural fear often makes war between them inevitable.
Origin of the Term
The concept was coined by Harvard political scientist Graham Allison. It takes its name from the ancient Greek historian Thucydides, who observed the Peloponnesian War. Thucydides famously argued that the underlying cause of the war was the rise of Athens and the fear this generated in Sparta.
The Modern Context
The theory is primarily used to analyze current geopolitical tensions between the United States and China. As China's economic, military, and technological influence grows, it challenges the established global dominance of the United States. Why the "Trap" HappensThe dynamic typically unfolds in three stages:The Rise: An emerging power (e.g., China) begins to challenge the established hegemon's influence.
The Fear: The ruling power (e.g., the United States) becomes deeply anxious about losing its status, security, and global position.
The Conflict: Defensive actions, military buildups, and economic rivalries on both sides create a volatile environment where a minor trigger or misunderstanding can spiral into an armed conflict.
The greatest alliance between nations could be one between China and the US. However, the distrust and arrogance of the USA towards any views that deviates from its perceived sense of right prevents it from recognizing that all humans across the globe desire the same quality of life we do.
Cooperation has always been the right path to gain respect and understanding. A truth China as well as Iran understands by far better than this nation's leaders and its people who have been hoodwinked for years by those in power.
American hegemony is going to come to an end. It is only a matter of when. What we do know is trump is accelerating that inevitably with each passing stupid statement and move.
Here's how we know the "summit" in China fell short of Trump's expectations...
On the opening page of FoxNews.com, the summit is not even listed or displayed. But this headline is...
BEYOND OUR SKIES
Retired Navy admiral issues terrifying warning about UFOs and what is controlling them
Seriously, a US President goes to China in the self described greatest presidential visit ever, and even FOX eighty sixes [see what I did there?] the story? For a UFO report... from a retired admiral?
Why?
When you click through to the actual summit page, the top headline is still focused on the dinner banquet. No verified deals, no joint president statements from Trump and Xi, no help on Iran, no words on Taiwan, nothing.
Again, why?
The summit was essentially Xi telling Trump he was going to take Taiwan, and if he interfered the "Thucydides Trap" would be sprung.
FOX(R) prefers its viewers hear about UFOs.
FOX's contributions to continue hiding the truth of The Decline of the American Empire under the incompetent malignant narcissist trump.
Trump diplomacy - a bull in a CHINA shop.
BB,
Yup. A Toddler Tyrant wrecking everything just because he can.
I don’t know what Summit you were watching??
Anonymous,
I know it's a big step for you to admit you don't know something, so good for you.
The next step is called "learning" about what you don't know
It was Trump's summit with Chinese Leader Xi.
Now for the difficult part where you have to process information and learn something else you didn't know. It should make you feel better that Trump also didn't know what Xi was talking about either, and he needed someone to explain it to him on the way home.
The Guardian can help.

”What is the Thucydides Trap and why did Xi Jinping mention it in his meeting with Donald Trump?"
China’s leader raised the ancient Greek historian Thucydides when he met the US president in Beijing
In his opening remarks on Thursday, Xi made reference to the Peloponnesian War in ancient Greece, a decades long conflict that erupted between Athens and Sparta in 431BC.
In a shot across the bow of hegemonic rivalry, Xi asked:
“Can China and the United States transcend the so-called ‘Thucydides Trap’ and forge a new paradigm for major-power relations?”
What is the Thucydides Trap?
A staple of foreign policy commentary, including by Trump’s former chief strategist Steve Bannon, the Thucydides Trap refers to the idea that when a rising power threatens to displace an established one, the result is often war.
“It was the rise of Athens and the fear that this instilled in Sparta that made war inevitable,” Thucydides wrote in his book, the History of the Peloponnesian War.
Just as Athens once warred with Sparta, the implication is that China’s rise provokes anxiety and potential conflict with the US.
Observers have noted that Xi has used the term for years, but deploying the classical reference during Trump’s visit may have been a foreshadowing of his position on Taiwan.
The Chinese leader later warned Trump that any missteps on Taiwan could push their two countries into “conflict”.
“The Taiwan question is the most important issue in China-US relations,” Xi said, of the self-governing island that China claims as its own.
“If mishandled, the two nations could collide or even come into conflict, pushing the entire China-US relationship into a highly perilous situation,” he added.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. ;-)
