Despicable

Sometimes there are no words adequate enough to describe such hate, cruelty, and evil in one person. Blaming the victim and boasting about it is part and parcel to his malevolent tyranny.

I blame everyone who voted for him last year, whether out of ignorance, racism, greed, or stupidity.

ANYONE who still supports this sociopathic monster is condoning all of his lies, racism, and criminality. They are entirely responsible for what would manifest itself into such hate, cruelty, and evil. They are ALL the soulless accomplices who share his blame for the destruction, dishonor, and division inflicted upon our country and our people.

And that includes the six so-called "Justices" on the Supreme Court who shielded him from the rule of law. Their betrayal of our Constitution and Republic will be neither forgotten nor forgiven. May their graves be as desecrated as our Capitol was on January 6, 2021.

Whether they will be judged by history or not, I will surely judge them all now. They are not patriots, and he is not my president. He's barely my fellow human being.

I predict massive and justified celebrations across the country and the world at his ultimate demise.

I'm saving a favorite beverage to sip on that day.

Such a compassionate morally upright guy, acting as mourner in chief after the Reiner slayings.

Contrast the president's words, with how Reiner, a strong progressive, responded to the slaying of Charlie Kirk...

"It's beyond belief what happened to him [Kirk]..." [what happened to the former TPUSA CEO] "should never happen to anybody"... "I don't care what your political beliefs are. That's not acceptable. That's not a solution"... "And I felt like what his wife [Erika] said at the service at the memorial they had was exactly right. I'm Jewish, but I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and I believe in 'do unto others,' and I believe in forgiveness, and what she said to me was beautiful. She forgave his assassin. And I think that is admirable."

Anyone notice a difference?

Dave,
Reiner was more Christian than all of MAGA. Most Jews and atheists are.
We can expect all the MAGA accusations about "celebrating" Charlie Kirk's murder to be demonstrated ten fold over the Reiners.
They find delight in hate and cruelty. I'm so sick of them all.

Dave Miller said...

Dave... and here we are. Finally, finally, some conservatives, including MTG, Jack Posobiec, former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis and more are saying the president's remarks are, especially in light of Reiner's remarks about Kirk, wildly off base and wrong.

But I doubt we'll hear that from the likes of your crew of anons, Victor, Sal, Suzanne and more.

Dave,
Yeah, and every one of those assholes have said the same, or worse, about Democrats, minorities, immigrants, and LBBTQ Americans. And our neo-Nazi trolls are even worse. Hate, willful ignorance, and stupidity are a dangerous combination, but that is the true essence of MAGA.

And of course, as Trump is spanked by some previously spineless GOP members after speaking ill of the dead, does what Trump does... he doubles down.

Mr Character.

“Well, I wasn’t a fan of his at all. He was a deranged person, as far as Trump is concerned... I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country..."

Democratic Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman said Monday that a “rot within the American left” has allowed antisemitic extremism to fester. Care to comment?

Dave Dubya said...

Fetterman loves to spew crap like that on FOX "News".
There's a rot in Fetterman's pandering to the Netanyahu regime, where anyone who supports Palestinian rights and disapproves of Israel's genocide of Gazans is falsely labeled "antisemitic".
This trick doesn't play anymore.
Most American Jews are Democrats for good reasons. One being the Republican Party is full of white nationalists and tolerates neo-Nazis like the Proud Boys.

Care to comment on Trump's evil smear of Rob Reiner?

Didn't think so. You probably agree with him.

I'm absolutely in agreement with your post Dave. And I too will be celebrating on Trump's demise with my favorite Scotch, a two finger pour if Taliskar.

That day cannot come soon enough!

Dave Miller said...

Anon... why should we? That's not the subject of THIS post.

Are you unable to stay on topic, or are you so broke by the president's indecent, immoral response to the Reiner slayings you simply cannot defend the repugnant president?

Dave Dubya said...

Les,
I will be joining you in a toast to the liberation of our nation from a monster with a dram of a single barrel Port Charlotte. PC 10 year is also a favorite of mine. I recently learned I have some Scottish ancestry from the Hebrides area. No wonder I've taken to their peat smoked "water of life". ;-)

Dave Dubya said...

Dave,
Anonymous always avoids the topic because he has nothing of value to add. His deflection and distractions are the evidence that he agrees with Trump. He has neither the courage nor basic human decency to condemn the evil and hate from his malevolent mendacious messiah.

Dave Miller said...

Oh my... and all I got is some 8 year old Oaxacan rum to add to the party. That and some special wild reserve anniversary reposado tequila.

Dave Dubya said...

Dave,
I have some Jamaican rum and a nice reposado in the cabinet. I like the stuff I can enjoy without mixing.

My buddies all prefer bourbon, which I call their "sweet hillbilly corn squeezins". Once in a while I'll have a little social nip of it with them, but I never pour a second one.

The only way I'd have a second is if nothing else were available on that special day when the malevolent mendacious messiah leaves us for good.

From Jack White:

“Trump you disgusting, vile, egomaniac, loser, child. Neither he nor any one of his followers can defend this gross, horrible insult to a beautiful artist who gave the world so much. To use someone’s tragic death to promote your own vanity and fascist authoritarian agenda is a corrupt and narcissistic sin. Shame on you trump and anyone who defends this. God bless you Rob Reiner and thank you for what you gave the world. I never even met you and I still stand by you.”

Jefferson Select is the Kentucky bourbon for me if I'm having one. It's Smooth smooth smooth! The problem is it's damn expensive so having one is very rare.

A good tequila is a treat as well!

I's interesting Dave... Anon brings up anti-semitism on the left. Sure it exists. But it also exists on the right in Holocaust deniers like Nick Fuentes, who has dined with Trump at Mar a Lago and who has said he thinks "Hitler is fu^#ing cool". Fuentes has one of the most important podcasts on the right.

To date, I've never heard Trump, Tucker Carlson or anyone for that matter in Trump's direct orbit say there is no place in America for Nazis, the kings of antisemitism.

I wonder why Anon missed this while looking at Fetterman...

Dave Dubya said...

Dave,
Anon misses a lot getting his "news" from the Daily Caller. They hate Jewish Democrats as much as any Nazi does.

Trump and MAGAts (Trump cultists) have an egregious case of The Universality of Ignorance. Something every nation suffers from to a degree. Trump and MAGA are simply working very hard the win the Crown of Ignorance for America..

Dave Dubya said...

Les,
At their core, millions of them are nothing but ignorant, gullible, and insecure little bigots and racists who find joy in the suffering of people they hate.

Every one of them would have eagerly followed Hitler had they lived in Germany in the 1930s.

Dave Dubya said...

"(Narco) Terrorism", "our oil", and "regime change".

Dick Cheney and Trump would never lie their way into wars, would they?

MAGA absolutely HATES George W Bush for starting a foreign war to protect American oil interests.

But MAGA loves Donald J Trump for... *checks notes*... starting a foreign war to protect American oil interests.

Dave Miller said...

Dave, you've hit a nail straight on the head.

If you read some of the fever swamp blogs, you see there are no policies people want, besides get rid of all immigrants, legal and otherwise. Nope, what they want is 100% fealty to Trump.

Anyting not seen as supportive is immediately attacked and people are jettisoned from the movement. Here's an example...

MTG is never going to vote with the Dems on more than "maybe" one or two issues. But she has pulled the curtain back, just a little, on Trump and how the GOP is struggling now.

So she's persona non grata.

Why? not because of a single policy difference at all. Simply because of a public criticism of Trump because any criticism is seen as betrayal.

In a world where MAGA folks expect Dems to be critical of their leaders when they do stupid stuff, like defend Biden's Border policies, why would they not expect the same from their own?

Because one reality supersedes everything...

Trump is right, all the time.

Dave,
Yes, a cult will eat its own if they see someone straying from their messiah's foul and fetid gospel.

If you like the place you live, the odds are that refugee resettlement will ruin it.

America was a good place to live until Trump destroyed our democracy and rule of law. It's not even a good place to visit now. Canadian and European tourism has fallen by 25 to 30%.

PRESS RELEASE
Trump administration puts US civic freedoms under severe threat – CIVICUS Monitor Watchlist
10 March 2025

The United States of America is added to the CIVICUS Monitor Watchlist due to threats to civic freedoms under Trump administration.

Unprecedented executive orders designed to unravel democratic institutions, rule of law, and global cooperation raise alarm.

In 2025, the new administration slashed federal funding for organisations supporting people most in need, dismantled USAID, and reversed progress on justice, inclusion, and diversity.

Due to the Trump administration’s assault on democratic norms and global cooperation, CIVICUS has added the United States of America (USA) to its Watchlist of countries with faltering civic freedoms.

“The Trump administration seems hellbent on dismantling the system of checks and balances which are the pillars of a democratic society,” said Mandeep Tiwana, Interim Co-Secretary General of CIVICUS.

Vern,
I'm not here to answer your stupid questions. The answers are easily researched or even previously discussed in my posts.
Oh, that's right. You DON'T READ!

At this juncture I'd be more than willing to eagerly comply with resettlement to Scandinavia, France, Denmark, Greenland, Bhutan, Northern India, or Costa Rica. if the Turd administration were to request it and foot the costs of resettlement. Cause the lying Turd is destroying this nation with a vengeance.

Les... i'll take the beaches of Oaxaca in Southern Mexico...

Les Carpenter said...

Was in northern Mexico with my parents when I was twelve. Not the beaches for sure but a good time nontheless. I recall my father negotiating prices with merchants to get better prices and man, were things cheap after the game ended. My father bought a beautiful handcrafted saddle for less than 50 bucks.

Yeah, I could do Oaxaca as well. I used to enjoy Mexican Tequila from time to time back in the day!

San Miguel de Allende sounds like a decent place to retire as an expat in Mexico. Belize would be another consideration.
I still like my home and country. I won't consider leaving it unless someone even worse than Trump takes power. Otherwise they'll have to pry my cold dead fingers from my Winchester and single malt. ;-)
