Spot The Bully

Scarlett Lewis, whose six-year-old son Jesse was killed in the Sandy Hook shooting took the stand in Alex Jones's civil trial. She said Jones is the “biggest bully I've ever faced”.

Of course he’s a bully. He portrays himself as a “tough guy” to con and frighten his dupes into giving him their money. His hateful rhetoric and participation in Trump’s coup also make him a bully. Have you noticed how bullies are almost always the people with authoritarian personalities? They’re arrogant, pushy, bossy, intimidating and rude whenever it suits their ego and agenda.

There are other indications that reveal the bullies.

How an entertainer or speaker responds to hecklers reveals their composure, or lack thereof. It also reflects the degree of decency, humor, and tolerance they may have.

How someone deals with a heckler can also indicate the presence of an authoritarian personality.

We can compare the former president and our current president for contrast in character, personality and composure.

See if you can spot the authoritarian personality, or the fascist, or if you feel neither term applies, the bully.

Biden:

“Let him go. Look, everybody’s entitled to be an idiot.”

“They’re entitled to be outrageous, this is a democracy. Good manners is nothing they’ve ever suffered from, but history and common sense tell us that opportunity, liberty and justice for all are most likely to come to pass in a democracy.”

Trump:

“Get him out! Try not to hurt him. If you do, I’ll defend you in court. Don’t worry about it.”

“I’d like to punch him in the face!”

“If you see somebody getting ready to throw a tomato, knock the crap out of them. I’ll pay the legal fees.”

“Throw them out into the cold. Don’t give them their coats. No coats! Confiscate their coats.”

Bonus response to an unruly violent audience:

After watching them beat cops and terrorize Congress for THREE hours on TV, Trump PRAISED his thugs.

"You're very special. We love you."

The same person endorsed Massachusetts gubernatorial candidate Geoff Diehl with this statement:

"Geoff is a proven fighter who successfully pushes back on the ultraliberal extremists, He'll rule your state with an iron fist, and he'll do what has to be done."

"Iron fist." Cruelty is the point. Bullying is their tactic.

In 1944 George Orwell asked, What is Fascism?

Of all the unanswered questions of our time, perhaps the most important is: “What is Fascism?”

Why, then, cannot we have a clear and generally accepted definition of it? Alas! we shall not get one — not yet, anyway.

Except for the relatively small number of Fascist sympathizers, almost any English person would accept ‘bully’ as a synonym for ‘Fascist’. That is about as near to a definition as this much-abused word has come.

Can’t argue with that. All fascists are bullies, by their authoritarian nature.

Of course, Trump and fascists are not the only bullies. Bill Mahr is a bully and anyone who knows about Bill Mahr knows that. The joke goes; The difference between Trump and Maher is Democrats know Maher is an asshole.

Maura Healy, our current very popular attorney general here in Massachusetts, is currently leading Geoff Diehl by 18 points.

Trump is a fascistic bully who thinks leaders "rule" not "govern." That's because Trump never governed he "ruled" by tweeting, lying, and plotting against democracy. He never showed an ounce of knowledge about the country he presided over as president. And about a third of the country, the deplorables, want this corrupt and dangerous idiot as POTUS again?

Shaw,
It's good that Trump's bully is well behind in the polls. I don't see a "red wave" coming, but I fear too many of his fascist enemies of democracy and equality will win.

I also see the entire Republican Party has dedicated itself to "rule over govern".

It's the authoritarian bottom line.

Isn’t it Peculiar how the Big Mouthed Democrats can’t find Even One Single Good Thing to Say About THEIR PRESIDENT!

This troll left this at my blog as well. The troll thinks our not constantly extolling Biden's presidency is an indictment on what we think of his presidency, when in fact, we're just behaving like normal, well-adjusted constituents who are not constantly being begged for affirmation, like Trump begs for at his rallies. That's because we're not cultists. Biden's doing his job, and doing it well, and that's all we need to know. Biden's an adult, not an insecure adolescent like Trump who needs constant reassurance that he's a good boy.

The fact that we don't have to continually praise Biden means we and he are mature adults, and the troll asking the question is a cultist who doesn't understand that mature adults don't need constant affirmation and praise, like a puppy dog or a toddler.

Shaw,
I wonder who he thinks are the "Big Mouthed Democrats". There's only one sore loser crybaby loudmouth sucking all the air out of the room.

His stupidity is along the lines of, "But Biden didn't have rallies! How could he win?"

White Nationalist Christian "Nat-C" logic.

Biden is doing his job? Which job is that? INCREASING INFLATION? INCREASING illegal immigration? Increasing allies apprehension and adversaries' belligerence? Increasing the politicization of the Justice Department and the FBI to persecute political opponents while ignoring crimes of leftists? Yeah, this corrupt piece of shit is in bed with China, Ukraine, and anywhere else that his crack-addicted son could set up a scheme/deal to get 10% to the "Big Guy".

Trump is gone, and good riddance, but you leftists ignore even greater corruption and incompetence by this cognitively challenged piece of human filth. This is why the country is dying because you all think he is "doing a good job". What a fucking joke.

Anonymous is a special kind of stupid if he said, "Democrats can’t find Even One Single Good Thing to Say About THEIR PRESIDENT!", and "because you all think he is "doing a good job".

"What a fucking joke." Indeed.

He blames Biden for global inflation caused by the pandemic.

He also has no memory. Trump fired Comey, bragged to Russians about it, hired Barr to stop Mueller and misrepresent his findings.

Then he tried to strong-arm the FBI into saying, "Just say it (the election) was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen."

I smell human filth named Anonymous.

Anonymous Filth is piling on his radical Right blame game and stream of resentments. You've seen how foul, hateful and rude this individual is. Whether or not he even read what I wrote about bullies/fascists, he demonstrated for us a perfect example. I thank him for further supporting my case.

But the poor guy is frightened. He seems to believe the country is dying because we think Biden's "doing a good job". Yes, with great power comes great responsibility.

So he angrily spewed his vulgarities and the usual radical Right claptrap about Biden causing global inflation, replacing IRS agents, (out to get HIM, no doubt) student debt forgiveness that will destroy the republic, "ruining" our "cheap and available energy", "begging our enemies for oil", etc. Obviously Biden is also to blame for Putin's war and OPEC's greed for costs and disruptions of energy supplies. He has no understanding of how energy is a global commodity for global markets. He has no idea of the unused leases energy corporations already have. Nothing is stopping them from drilling, but they want supplies low so demand and profits rise.

Ah yes. Where would I get such a silly notion?

Maybe Anonymous Filth hasn't seen what his hero wrote in 2020:
"Just spoke to my friend MBS (Crown Prince) of Saudi Arabia, who spoke with President Putin of Russia, & I expect & hope that they will be cutting back approximately 10 Million Barrels, and maybe substantially more which, if it happens, will be GREAT for the oil and gas industry!"

Yes, it's the same guy who has always admired those tyrants. Always eager to pay his respects. Even going so far as sharing secrets in the Oval Office and praising Putin as a "genius" for invading Ukraine. (I'd bet Putin and MBS got a lot more secrets from Mar-A-Lago.)

I'd also like to thank Anonymous Filth for a compliment.

"I would recommend you to take over as Biden's press secretary though, as you seem to be a better puppet mouth piece for the left than the ignoramus currently at the podium.

Aww. That's sweet. Except for calling a Black lady an ignoramus. Issues, amirite? I bet he "doesn't see color" too.

Nevertheless I'd like to return the compliment. Anonymous Filth would be very good puppet mouthpiece for Lauren Boebert or Marjorie Taylor/Whatever her next husband's name is.

His dream girls deserve a fellow like him on their team.

Anonymous Filth whined: "Everything from goods and services is dependent upon cheap and available energy, which the criminal Biden ruined."

Turns out oil production went DOWN during Trump's last two years,

He won't accept these facts, of course.

The U.S. averaged 11.6 million barrels a day of crude oil production in December 2021.

The data shows that there were 4,082,478,000 barrels of crude oil produced in 2021, an amount that is greater than any time in American history, except 2020 and the peak in 2019.
• 2017: 3,415,257,000 Barrels of Crude Oil
• 2018: 3,993,288,000 Barrels of Crude Oil
• 2019: 4,485,635,000 Barrels of Crude Oil
• 2020: 4,129,563,000 Barrels of Crude Oil
• 2021: 4,082,478,000 Barrels of Crude Oil\

Gas prices are high. Oil CEOs reveal why they're not drilling more
Mar 24, 2022

The U.S. oil industry doesn't appear to be in any rush to come to the rescue of Americans struggling with high gas prices. Oil company CEOs say Wall Street is to blame.

Fifty-nine percent of oil executives said investor pressure to maintain capital discipline is the primary reason publicly traded oil producers are restraining growth, according to a Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas survey released Wednesday.
