How To Think Like A Trump Voter

The Clinton Foundation... had 11 and a half million AIDS victims on treatment who otherwise would have died, for instance...rebuilt the entire health system of the country of Rwanda...eliminated malaria from most of Tanzania and saved thousands and thousands of people’s lives that way. - Joe Conason

The Trump Foundation bribed politicians, paid off lawsuit settlements and bought Donald an aristocratic wall portrait.

From this, Trump voters know that Hillary is corrupt and has no shame.

Hillary has released thorough medical records and a long tax history.

Trump said he would release his medical and tax records, but has refused to do so.

This tells discerning Trump voters that damn lying Hillary is too secretive. Trump is obviously more honest and transparent.

Hillary has faced numerous grueling Republican hearings on Benghazi and her emails.

Trump voters are horrified that despite Hillary's open hate for America, and founding ISIS with Obama, Republicans failed to find criminal wrongdoing.

This proves she alone is to blame for the Benghazi attack, and for our enemies learning all our top secrets. This clearly means she has turned our generals into rubble and made us weak.

Hillary wants better background checks for weapon purchases, and to limit semi-automatic weapons with large magazines, therefore Trump voters know she wants to repeal the Second Amendment and confiscate our guns.

This is the "Trumped up logic" that tells us Hillary is a traitor and must be locked up. And for these reasons, Donald is the “only one” who can make America great again.

You just can't fool a Trump voter, can you?

Heil, Drumpf!

Isn't projection wonderful???

What happened to Free?? Don't see comments from him lately.

Kulkuri,

Projection. They don't even know the meaning of the word, while they howl, "I know you are, but what am I?"

Free has been scarce.

Perhaps he's doing something that fits his ideology. Maybe he's busy working security for the Koch brothers, or he's the maintenance guy at the Ayn Rand Institute.

What is going on here is not projection. Projection is a psychological problem. What they are doing is not that, but a deliberate strategy, which was really perfected by Karl Rove, of systematically accusing your opponent of every misdeed you yourself have committed. Thus, Bush was a deserter, so Kerry's war record is smeared. Bush was lazy and stupid and took a record number of vacations, so Obama is accused of being lazy and stupid and always being on vacation. Trump is a lying con-man, so Hillary is accused of the same thing. This is done, because Republicans know that the vast number of undecided voters lack the perception and diligence to distinguish true claims from false ones, and when they hear both sides accusing the other of something, they dismiss the whole thing as a couple of kindergarten kids accusing each other of eating all the cookies. This simple strategy has been phenomenally successful for Republicans, and is doing tremendous damage this time around too.

GE,
Yes, the defense mechanism called projection is a characteristic of a mental disorder. But as you note, the Republican tactic of “systematically accusing your opponent of every misdeed you yourself have committed” is projection taken to new level. It is pure propaganda, of course, and the Republicans, like fascists before them, know lies always pay huge returns.

Mark Twain understood this. “It's easier to fool people than to convince them that they have been fooled.”

Dave, did you leave Tom's blog for good?

We Marxists must stand united to fight for profit companies and Chuck! amirite?

Michael Stivic: "We Marxists must stand united to fight for profit companies and Chuck!"

As usual, you make no sense...at all. Give it up, man.

Whatever it is, I'm sure it involves bashing heads and killing innocent people. Perhaps he's a cop! Last I heard he was living in Charlotte...or was it Tulsa? Hmm, maybe it was Baltimore... It's hard to keep track.

lol, that coming from a member of the lunatic .0000001 percent who believe 9/11 was an inside job. When will you give it up and get medication/counseling?

I know you guys are shitting your pants that the .000001 percent central planning Liberal Fascists may soon have their Liberal Welfare State Plantation demolished. amirite?

Michael Stivic: "...who believe 9/11 was an inside job."

It wasn't?...

My "conspiracy theory" is more plausible than the "official" conspiracy theory. As I said on another blog, I subscribe to Occam's razor. It makes more sense.

JG,

It didn't take you long to tweak Michael into breaking character.

I prefer Archie Bunker from Wallingford CT. He stays in character much better for some reason. ;-)

Maybe Free has become a mercenary. If so, I hope he goes to fight ISIS, since his leader sent him to a war that made them what they are.

Ever notice those who break things never fix them? And they love to lecture us on "personal responsibility".

Fellow marxists, in 2008 when Hillary was tanking to Obama in the primary, do you believe the Clinton Camp started the Birther Movement in desperation?

But you sheep won't pull out the race card on that, amirite?

Crickets comrades?

Jefferson's Guardian said...

Dave, for some reason the faux Michael Stivic is under the impression that you're a Clinton loyalist and a Democratic Party ideologist -- or that I am. I find that both amusing and sad.

And he's asking for crickets -- a favorite food source of snakes. How fitting.

Dave Dubya said...

I'll pass on the crickets. Anyone who believes Trump will swallow anything.

"Fellow Marxists" would include Mike, yet "you sheep" breaks character again.

I miss Archie.

?Trump voters? Think? rather a contradiction of terms. Asking a Trump voter what he thinks is very much like asking what type of toilet paper he/she uses. Most, I believe, use sand paper.
