Among Other Indicators...

I was thinking about soliciting to start a fundraiser to buy this bumper-sticker for Free0352's car.

Who wants to be the first donor? ;-)

"The good thing about science is that it's true whether or not you believe in it." - Neil deGrasse Tyson

...Even if you believe in the vast Global Conspiracy of Evil Climate Scientists?

Neil is a refreshing voice of sanity, science and reason, which the radical Right sees as a threat, both to the Christian religion and the religion of the Oily Church of Koch "Libertarian" Neo-liberalism.

It makes one wonder what their "objectivist" cult Goddess of Greed would have to say. Would Ayn Rand ignore science to hold her beliefs?

Probably. Their view of reality is measured only in dollar signs and the power of wealth to control public policy.

Yes...

The "laws of nature" -- whether they relate to physics, chemistry, geology, or biology -- are all testable, explainable, and predictable. In other words, rationally explained and reliably applied.

Refreshing, isn't it?

It's unfortunate that many conservatives try to categorize many pseudosciences (e.g., political science) into this same group, expecting similar rationality of understanding and the same reliability of application.
