So far Putin seems to be the war's biggest winner with the rising prices of oil.
Hegseth's threats of more war crimes like, "No quarter", and Trump's stupid demands like "unconditional surrender" won't win this war. They won't even take us closer to negotiating a ceasefire.
Meanwhile in America and Europe.
Trump’s director of the National Counterterrorism Center Joe Kent resigned, saying: “I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby."

of Trump’s insults, bullying, threats, idiocy about annexing Greenland, wildly arbitrary tariffs, etc. directed at allies are bearing
their fruits.

depend on China than on the U.S. under Trump.
Yes, this is what "winning" looks like.
And now it’s time for the American people to pay Trump’s war tax at the gas pumps. But rejoice in the good news that someone’s celebrating that economic burden on Americans. "The United States is the largest Oil Producer in the World, by far, so when oil prices go up, we make a lot of money”.

But be of good cheer, America. Trump’s gas prices, impending rise of inflation, and likely recession are all GOOD for America, and it’s our patriotic duty to shell out more of our money for his noble and wise war. And while we're at it, let's send a few more $billion to Netanyahu to bomb and win the hearts and minds of his neighbors.

Dave, we're still stuck with why we are there. I agree with most everyone on the planet... the leadership in Iran are/were bad people, horrible people. But so is Putin, Xi and Kim Jong Un. But we're not attacking them, nor did we during the Cold War attack the USSr and their dictators.
Why Iran? Because Trump said, the USA faced an imminent threat from them.
Now we have Joe Kent, the Trump appointed head of the National Counterterrorism Center resigning. Why? Read part of his statement...
"This echo chamber was used to deceive you [America] into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States, and that should you strike now, there was a clear path to a swift victory. This was a lie..."
Let me translate this for the clueless folks here who see all criticism of POTUS Trump as hate for America.
Kent, again, a Trump appointee, is saying the imminent threat Trump used to justify the Iran view, is a lie. And he is willing to resign rather than go along with the ongoing lie.
Conservatives used to say if someone was in an Admin and resigned rather than support stupid policies, or even lies, they were a patriot. Let's see how Kent is viewed over the next couple of day.

PRESIDENT Trump has offered PLENTY of reasons for the strikes and has denied on claims that Israel forced the U.S. into it.. House Speaker Mike Johnson has suggested the White House believed Israel was ready and determined to act on its own, And Trump’s decision was an easy one. The last 4 Presidents wanted to eliminate Iran but none of them had the courage to do it.
