PSA for Patriots

A Public Service Announcement and Friendly Reminder to all Patriots.

Donald Trump is a criminal.

This mob boss has a rap sheet longer than any person he is having deported.

The record of the convicted felon’s criminal offenses against the American people:

34 criminal charges of falsifying business records in the first degree related to payments made to Stormy Daniels before the 2016 presidential election.

40 criminal charges alleging mishandling of sensitive documents and conspiracy to obstruct the government in retrieving these documents.

4 criminal election Interference charges of conspiring to defraud the government and disenfranchise voters and corruptly obstructing an official proceeding. This case included Trump's involvement in the January 6 U.S. Capitol attack.

8 criminal charges related to alleged attempts to overturn Joe Biden's victory in Georgia, alongside 18 accused co-conspirators.

==

Now the US is overrun by a racist and unaccountable secret police force and illegal military occupation of American cities. Government checks and balances on autocratic power have been practically eliminated. Extrajudicial military executions are rampant on international waters. The racist president is calling Black people "garbage" and accuses them of eating dogs. Echoing every white supremacist he said they should, "Go back to where they came from". The fascist president calls the opposition party "vermin", "communists", and the "enemy within".

This is how democracy ends.

The Criminal President is the number one threat to our national security and to our representative democratic republic.

Our proud heritage and national honor of peaceful transfer of power and equal justice under law have been demolished by the Criminal President, his abettors on the Supreme Court, Republican voters, and the Republican Party.

“Presidential immunity” is NOT in the Constitution. Today Trump's personal team of lawyers on the Supreme Court bench overruled a previous decision that halted Trump's Texas gerrymandering on racial divisions. Of course they did what their mob boss wanted them to do.

The seditious betrayal of our Constitution by a Trump loyalist judge in Florida and the six most corrupt and radical Supreme Court Justices (Four of whom were appointed by the named felon) allows this criminal to be in power. In a just and democratic republican system of government these seven radical right political operatives would be impeached for violating their oath to the Constitution and arrested for obstruction of justice.

===

Jack Smith’s “Final Report of the Special Counsel Under 28 C.F.R. § 600.8” concludes with this statement:

January 7, 2025

The Department's view that the Constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a President is categorical and does not tum on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the Government's proof, or the merits of the prosecution, which the Office stands fully behind. Indeed, but for Mr. Trump's election and imminent return to the Presidency, the Office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.

===

I strongly suggest this message be a core campaign issue for Democrats running to replace the Criminal President’s henchmen.

They paid the price for failing on this issue in 2024.

A list any mob boss would be proud of!

Yes, the DNC should be fervently developing their strategy based in part on your list of criminal activities the Toddler Tyrant has committed against the American people. As well as his recent international criminality.

tRump looms large as on of the 21st centuries most vile head of state. Alongside Netanyahu, Putin, and lesser hateful authoritarian tyrants across the globe.

Les,
Netanyahu, Putin, and Trump are the latest Axis of Evil. They are criminals, tyrants, and cold-blooded murderers.

Dave, he's not just a criminal, he's an idiot, or a liar.

President Trump said this week that his admin has lowered drug prices "by 500, 600, 700, 800, 900 percent, depending on the drug".

For the folks from Rio Lindo who visit here, it is just a fact, easily verifiable, that what I've posted above is a direct quote from the president.

Now, basic math, or arithmetic as some know it, tells you his statement is false. But here's an example...

If your medicine cost $60.00 before Trump took office and he reduced prices 50%, the cost would now be $30.00. If he reduced the cost of that same medicine 100%, it would now be free. But here's the kicker...

Let's say President Trump reduced the cost of that medicine 200%, much less than he claimed. You would not only get that medicine for free, but you would be owed $60.00.

Obviously claims of 500, 600, 700, 800 and 900 percent price reductions, which our criminal president made are false. Demonstrably so. So again for you Rio Lindo residents, and yes, that includes Sal, Suzanne, Victor, Anon, -FJ et al, what's going on?

Is the president too stupid to know his math doesn't add up? I doubt it. Rather, I think he knows what he is saying is false, and as such, it is a lie, but he says it anyway.

Not to bring America together. Not to solve a problem. Not to explain anything.

None of that at all.

President Trump, a convicted felon, is deliberately lying to deceive people, incite people and divide Americans for his personal gain.

The question is why?

Dave Dubya said...

Dave,
"The question is why?"

I think you answered this in your previous statement.

"President Trump, a convicted felon, is deliberately lying to deceive people, incite people and divide Americans for his personal gain."

It's all because he's an autocratic CRIMINAL sociopath, and getting away with his lies and crimes thanks to fellow crooked authoritarians on the Supreme Court, at the polls, and in Congress.

Les Carpenter said...

I know this is simplistic Dave, but simplicity itself doesn't make something not true. So, for me the answer to your question why is not complicated, although psychology gurus would likely make it so, is this... ignorance born of extreme narcissism resulting in Trump's sincere belief that he is imbued with infallible wisdom and therefore never wrong.

Now, does this mean he actually doesn't know he's telling lies or he not dividing America? Probably deep down, inside his rather hollow being, he knows the truth. But his ignorance and deluded thinking and beliefs prevent him from acknowledging truth. IOW, he is so filled with himself he's incapable of seeing the real results of his beliefs, words, and actions.

Now, back to retreat. Where one finds refuge from the complexities of the mundane world.

Notice to AG Pam Bondi: We need some impact prosecutions and not just some indictments that liberal judges throw out! Go after, indict and prosecute Ilhan Omar for immigration fraud and bigamy and then expel her from Congress and deport!

Dave Dubya said...

Anonymous,

MAGAts don't need no stinkin' EVIDENCE to indict and prosecute, do they?
Nope.
A LIE and an order from their Tangerine Toddler Tyrant is All they need.
And you wonder why we compare you to Nazis?
What the hell is the difference between you and a Nazi anyway?

Les Carpenter said...

Ignorance and hate needs no evidence. Their belief in what they feel is enough for the any mouses of MAGA.

Dave Miller said...

Anon... as with what happened after the 2020 elections, the Trump Admin is learning, as you should too, that real evidence is needed to bring a case to trial. I'm sure the conservative judges appointed by Trump and who have thrown out numerous cases his administrations has brought, for lack of evidence, understand this.

Just remember the words of Rudy Giuliani when he was asked by a judge if he had any evidence of fraud in the 2020 elections. He said, and I quote...

“We’ve got lots of theories. We just don’t have the evidence.”

That's where you, a lot of MAGA lovers and AG Pam Bondi are. Long on theories, short on evidence.

Why is that?

After calling us commies, Anonymous takes the "high road", as in inebriated. "Your Stupid, and Childish name calling only goes to show everyone just how much your Opinion is Worthless."

They're just too dense to see their own hate and hypocrisy. No wonder they call themselves "Christians".

Before anyone gets another condescending lecture about “affordability” from the Progressive Communist Democrats politicians like California’s Gavin Newsom, it’s worth stopping to look at the scoreboard. And the scoreboard isn’t just bad—it’s another Bull-Shit, full-blown catastrophe dressed up in flowery speeches and polished for the press releases. Somehow, the people presiding over spiraling costs and shrinking wallets have the nerve to talk down to the public as if they’ve mastered the art of economic salvation.
If politicians spent as much time fixing housing as they do talking about it, we’d all be living comfortably by now. Instead, California and other progressive-led states have become ground zero for unaffordable housing. Decades of obstruction, suffocating regulations, NIMBYism disguised as virtue, and misplaced priorities have combined to produce the least affordable housing markets in the nation.
But yes, please—tell us of those Democratic Filthy Lies, and Bull-Shiting more about “Equity, and Diversity

Maryanne,
I'm sure you're very concerned about public safety in New York City, but your information is incorrect.

Mysonne Linen has been appointed to serve on the incoming administration's criminal legal system transition committee.

If that bothers you, then you should be very upset by a serial criminal and convicted felon as President.

Linen was a teenager at the time of his arrest, and served his time with good behavior paying his debt to society, unlike many Republican criminals.

You're projecting thetruth of MAGA and the tRumpublivmcan party quite well angus. Thank you for your projections.

Dave Dubya said...

Herr Obersturmbannfuhrer Angus, (You earned the SS rank for your neo-Nazi hate and lies about "Progressive Communist Democrats".)

Maybe you heard about the free market law of supply and demand? It applies to housing too. How about "location, location, location"? This is why housing prices are so high in California. There's so much more you don't know because it doesn't filter into a narrow mind that doesn't want to know much in the first place. You even voted against the very people who worked to lower housing costs.

Want low prices? Move to the “prosperous” red states like West Virginia and Mississippi. They suck up federal tax dollars paid by blue states like California, New York, and Connecticut.

Median entry-level sale prices: prices

Blue states:

Minneapolis $325,000
Chicago $278,000
New Haven CT $325,000
Los Angeles $660,000
Bakersfield CA $329,000

Red states:

Salt Lake City $428,000
Provo UT $417,000
Nashville $359,000
Austin TX $339,000
Miami $400,000
Charleston $345,000
Phoenix $375,000

How about that, Herr Obersturmbannfuhrer? Houses are cheaper in the state run by a guy you hate, than in all those red state cities.

I bet you won't want to discuss this any further, but I will. See my next post, or ignore is, as we've come to expect from closed-minded bigots.

From the National Housing Conference:
https://nhc.org/the-harris-walz-housing-plan-detailed-serious-and-impactful/

Neither Vice President Harris nor Minnesota Governor Tim Walz are new to housing policy. Each have extensive records in California, Minnesota, and the U.S. Congress. The two candidates are also among the strongest supporters of affordable housing in the nation, as demonstrated by their records and their campaign’s unprecedented emphasis on housing. Vice President Harris’s economic plan says, “building up the middle class will be a defining goal of her presidency.” Housing is the primary feature of this goal, committing to “build the American Dream, lowering the costs of renting and owning a home.”

The Harris-Walz plan also focuses on “corporate landlords using private equity backed price-setting tools to collude with each other to jack up rents dramatically in communities across the country.”

The plan also calls for a significant expansion of President Biden’s downpayment assistance (DPA) proposal. As long as the program is targeted and well distributed, it is unlikely to inflate housing prices. First time homebuyers make up only one third of the market today, and that figure will decrease significantly as interest rates fall. Targeted downpayment assistance, therefore, is not likely to have an inflationary impact on housing prices, especially if it is limited to first-generation homebuyers who earn less than 140 percent of the area median income.

All things considered, the plan is a detailed, serious, and impactful strategy for addressing the affordable housing crisis. The housing plan balances the needs of renters and homebuyers, while including many bipartisan proposals that could be enacted in the first 100 days of a new Administration.

As governor, Walz signed legislation representing the largest investment in housing in Minnesota’s history, with over $1 billion allocated to expand affordable housing availability. The bill allocated $45 million to the Family Homeless Prevention and Assistance Program, providing emergency rental and utility assistance. It also included $200 million dedicated to housing infrastructure investments, aimed at expanding affordable housing options across the state. The legislation created a permanent funding source for housing needs across Minnesota, ensuring long-term support for housing programs, paid for with an increase in the sales tax by 0.25% in the Twin Cities metropolitan area to create a stable funding source for housing programs. It also included:

$350 million investment to preserve and build over 4,700 affordable housing units, including single-family, multifamily, and manufactured homes, $95 million specifically for workforce housing, addressing the need for affordable housing options for middle-income earners near their workplaces, and $150 million for downpayment assistance specifically targeting first-generation homebuyers, helping around 4,500 individuals purchase their first homes.

Governor Walz has also been active in reducing regulatory barriers to housing construction, aiming to make housing more affordable by speeding up permitting processes. He supported building code reforms to modernize and potentially legalize single-stair buildings, which could reduce construction costs and increase housing supply.

Dave Dubya said...

Les,
Why am I reminded of "Waiting for Godot"? ;-)

Les Carpenter said...

Yes... like the characters, Angus seeks fulfillment from external sources rather than where it is actually to be found.

Dave Miller said...

Guys... as usual, there is a kernel of truth in what Kernel Angus says... the regulatory climate in many progressive states does contribute to higher real estate.

Both the excessive inspection and requirement levels, have contributed not just to higher direct costs, but indirect costs as well by limiting additional construction.

I did a small addition on my house recently and it took over 6 months for my design to get through plan check. Currently in the Vegas area, to get approvals for a 50 home development, not huge, it takes over 2 years.

And we're nowhere near as anti development, or NIMBY as California.

Here's a good example of the So Cal problem. Los Angeles has spent billions to improve mass transit with dedicated bus lines, subways and both light and heavy rail. The way to make this work is by building high density housing along these transit lines.

Everyone knows this. But it can't happen because locals do not want it and local governments will not approve it.

Why?

Owners of single family home believe dense house housing near their single family dwellings will depress home values.

It's government artificially keeping supply low through regulations and permitting issues to prop up home values.

Dave Dubya said...

Dave,
I sympathize for your hassles on the addition. I agree housing regulations can be restrictive and should be re-evaluated. Prices rise with or without them, though. Realtors and investors are the real winners either way. Maybe they have something to do with higher prices as well.

Isn't it true that Nevada has had only one Democratic governor in this century? And Las Vegas had an Independent mayor from 1999 to 2024, who refused to endorse Hillary or Trump.

Housing does seem to be primarily a local issue.

Dave Miller said...

So... as to Nevada. One Dem, one term. Steve Sisolak. Pretty meh. Two terms of Brian Sandoval from the sane wing of the GOP. So sane Obama considered him for the Merrick Garland SCOTUS seat. He would've been a great choice.

Our government, except the Statehouse, is mostly Dem these days as we are a reliable swing state, original home of the Sagebrush Rebellion.

All mayors in the valley are "non partisan". At least on the registration papers.

We're a valley of 4 cities in total. All with independent governments and police. But on the local level, the cities lean conservative, or at least libertarian.

Housing is a local issue, but as Ezra Klein and the "abundance' movement points out, like everywhere else, only private stuff like our casinos, get built. Public Works are stagnant and road construction is slow, slow, slow.
