Hegseth's threats of more war crimes like, "No quarter", and Trump's stupid demands like "unconditional surrender" won't win this war. They won't even take us closer to negotiating a ceasefire.

Scientists say it would take a minimum of between 1 and 2 years to completely build nuclear capability, by an advanced nation like the US, more for nation like Iran.
So you tell us... was President lying in June of 2025 when he claimed Iran's nukes had been totally obliterated? Or was he lying when he said an imminent nuclear attack was coming?
Because you see, both things cannot be true. One of them is either wrong, or a lie. So you tell us...
Like all sane people, of course we care whether Iran has nukes or not. Their government has been a thorn in the side of many countries, including ours, for decades. No one is mourning the loss of Iranian leadership. No one.

My worry comes from a lack of trust in POTUS Trump. I do not find him to be truthful in his statements. I do not believe his leadership is competent. I don't believe the US should attack other countries simply because we do not like their leadership. I do not believe we should engage in "regime change", absent a clear and present danger to the US alone.
If the US needs to go to war, the POTUS has a responsibility to truthfully and accurately inform us as to why. Trump has not done that. A POTUS needs to get the support of Congress and the American ppl. Trump has not done that. A POTUS should bring allies on board before hostilities. Trump has not done that. You prepare for contingencies and prepare for the worst. trump has not done that either, as evidenced by the Hormuz problem.
