Fairlane, you're right. The blame falls on every American unwilling to face the facts of who runs our government. The bottom line is Obama and MOST democrats are corporatists, whether they call themselves blue dogs or "moderates". The Big O has proven he's a corporatist over and over again. He coddled telecoms with his FISA vote, appeased big Pharma by letting them set prices, and sold out to the insurance industry by never promoting single payer health care. The so-called "public option" is merely another corporate option. Big money wins every time.

OK, I've had it! Nobody from Hawaii has old time paper birth certificates any more. Not Obama, not anyone! It took me less than 15 minute on the Internet to find that out. Am I the only one who goes back and checks? The Hawaii Star-Bulletin newspaper on Sept.16 2009 said the Health Department went paperless in 2001. All birth certificates had been moved to electronic data bases. All birth certificates now come off computer printers, only! On September 16 a editor of the Hawaii Star wrote " conspiracy idiots continue to maintain that Obama was not born in the United States..." "they will cling to such nonsense despite conclusive evidence ..." "If any doubt is left both the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Honolulu Advertiser included Obama's birth in their vital vital statistics columns on Aug. 1961." Thats available on microfilm in the main state library. "Were the (Hawaii) State Department and Obama's parents really in cahoots to give false information to the newspapers?" In1961? This is more of the Assault on Reality the rich Neo-Con Lie Factory's have been pumping out! Birthers, Baggers, Deathers , its all the same. They are the work of lyiers to work up fear. The United States does not like to view itself as having an Empire, or as a Colonial Power, but regardless of how it sees itself, an Empire it is.

History is almost like a mirror, you can see what has happened to Empires over the centuries. They all collapsed from within.

The forces that drive The American Empire are more active than they have ever been. No more behind closed doors, but live on TV, spreading fear and, the new word for lies, misinformation.

I cannot get MSNBC in my cable market, I have requested it, and they told me there was not enough demand to warrant inclusion in my package. Get Fox News though.

Big ARSE targets the lowest common denominator, because they are easily scared, the most bigoted and blessed with a false sense of patriotism, and this target group gets called "Real Americans" by Fox and other media outlets.

To me big ARSE's new found activism is based on fear. They are scared that there could be a man in Washington who could bring to a halt the progress they have made since 1980. In turn they are passing on their fear to to people who will do the leg work for them, make the headlines and intimidate the rest of the population. The next few months will be interesting to say the least.
